About Me

Well hey there! My name is David, and I sustained a traumatic brain injury during the fall of 1998 while serving in the US Marine Corps overseas in Japan. I suppose that it really was a traumatic time for my family, I just don't remember that part. Thankfully. Anyways, a 10 year anniversary more or less was marked by yet another brain injury. Another motor vehicle accident. It wasn't my fault but a young and inexperienced driver's. I try and just take each day as the blessing it is and not get so hung up on imperfections that take place. None of this would have been possible except through the saving power of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. My pastor has also spent many hours with me explaining where I could be and what could have happened, so be thankful for what I have and where I am. :)

The Climb

Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waiting on the other side
It's the climb

The struggles I'm facing
The chances I'm taking
Sometimes might knock me down
But no, I'm not breaking

And I, I got to be strong
Just keep pushing on
