With Rachel’s peers selecting her to the homecoming court, we had to persuade Children’s Hospital to allow Rachel to attend the game just one month after she was shot. In what was an incredible show of support from both Thomas Worthington High School and the Worthington community, Rachel was welcomed back to her school with open arms. A packed house came to their feet as Rachel was wheeled down the track by her boyfriend Mike and brother Joe. A deafening applause erupted from the crowd as Rachel was announced Thomas Worthington's 2006-2007 homecoming queen.
Welcome and thank you for visiting Rachel's Miracle. An inspirational, heart-warming story of Love and Friendship, Faith, Hope and Recovery. The purpose of this site is to provide hope to brain injury survivors, caregivers, family members, friends, or anyone else affected by this injury.
Power Of Prayer
"Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours." (Mk 11:24)
"Behold, I make all things new." (Rv 21:5)
The Climb
Ain't about how fast I get there Ain't about what's waiting on the other side It's the climb
The struggles I'm facing The chances I'm taking Sometimes might knock me down But no, I'm not breaking
And I, I got to be strong Just keep pushing on
