Una and Kenzie | Hey girls- just wanted to update you guys on rachel's progress... your thoughts and prayers for her are working, she had a very successful surgery yesterday and she is continuing to recover so quickly. We got to see her briefly today, and she looks beautiful as always, and she even looks tan, which you know she will love... please keep praying and thinking about her and her family. I know tomorrow is going to be hard, but we have to do it for our rach, she would want nothing less than all of us out there doing our very best. tomorrow's game is for rachel. also- just wanted to thank everyone from COA, Cyclone, BCE and all of the other cheerleaders that are thinking about rach...as long as we stay strong,rach will stay strong. we love you guys. |

Meredith | Rachel Update! Her mom called me this afternoon and told me that this morning she tried to write something. It didn't really work because she's on so much medication right now, but that kind of attempt is AMAZING! They also took her neck brace off and set the breathing machine to a level that allows Rachel to breathe on her own but the machine will be able to tell if she needs help. So keep up the prayers and the messages! When Rachel is awake I know she's going to love to read all of the notes for her! |

Meredith | Rachel is doing well :) She had a little bit of a set back on Sunday that will prevent her from starting rehabilitation at Children's Hospital today, but they are hoping that she will be able to go to Children's over the weekend or next week. She is starting to move the left side of her body just a little bit so that is awesome. Her right side is moving just fine and she's been trying to put her foot on the ground to get up (yesterday she wanted her cheerleading shoes) :-) She is still at OSU hospital for now (on the 8th floor) and can take visitors until |

Meredith | We all want Rachel to be cheering with the team but it's really hard to say how quickly she will be recovering. Her update is that she is now in Children's Hospital and starting her physical therapy. She's doing soooo great and hopefully she will be able to at least come to one of the Football games.
